CICO LATEX is a SBR based milky liquid admixture for concrete repair, waterproofing for concrete and mortar, bonding of old to old and old to new concrete and brick work, tiles, coping etc. The cement modified Styrene Butadine Rubber (SBR) is in use for the last few decades.
CICO LATEX is extensively used as polymer modified cementitious material. It is used for concrete/plaster repairs, waterproofing treatment in basement, roof, underground and overhead reservoir; fixing of bricks, tiles, copings etc. It is extensively used as bonding agent for cold joint for overlays on bridge decks and for any screed concrete on hardened concrete surface. It can also be used in a protective slurry layer for concrete/plaster.

Before application of CICO LATEX – cement composite, the surface should be cleaned thoroughly so that no oil, grease or any foreign material adhering on it. After cleaning the surface should be saturated with water prior to application of CICO LATEX composite. Before preparation of CICO LATEX should be diluted with water in the ratio of 1:0 to 1:1.6 (LATEX:WATER) depending on requirement of physical parameters and the purpose for which the CICO LATEX-cement composite is to be used. The above dilution range is for the specified purposes in pre-page. For fixing of bricks, tiles and coping, the dilution of CICO LATEX with water can be 1:4 (LATEX:WATER)
